Is there one person in this world that I regret not meeting? Yes. It's Steve Jobs.
I have been asked the question "Who is your role model" several times. Yeah I love my parents and Princess Diana and my old boss and my favourite school teacher, but I never really had a role model. For a while after reading Atlas Shrugged, I liked believing Dagny Taggart was my role model. But at the bottom of my heart I always wanted to look up to someone real. Now I have a role model. He is Steve Jobs.
I turned 30 yesterday. Steve was thirty when he was fired from Apple. To think that he had already accomplished so much when I feel like I am just starting my career!
But that is not the reason why he is my role model. Steve is my role model because:
Thank you Steve.
Love

But that is not the reason why he is my role model. Steve is my role model because:
- He could make people do things they thought were impossible
- He surrounded himself by people who would challenge him and each other
- He stood up for his beliefs and passions even if that meant he would be unpopular
- He used his emotions and instincts to guide him, not just his knowledge
- He aimed for perfection and then tried to make things better
Thank you Steve.
Love
G.
