Love it is

I don't usually publish anything that's too personal. But today I feel like writing about my relationship. Just so in the years to come, I can come back to this post and remember a time when I was on top of the world.

We are a dot com couple. It was this very blog that brought us together in the first place. It was Orkut that made us friends. And Google Chat that made us fall in love. So many years ago!

After going through the anxiety of meeting the man I fell in love with in the "virtual world" and a whirlwind romance we were married. In the space of 11 months after seeing each other for the first time, ever! Everything happened so fast! Even though we believed we knew what we were doing, it still seemed like a huge risk.

It's the best risk I've ever taken.

If you ever come across this my sweetheart, know that you are my best friend... and I love you.

Love

Sometimes its good to give in to temptation...

And so.. am just back to work after a fantabulous 3 week holiday and my first assignment is in a city away from home..

Travelling.. the bane of a married working couple! I remember the days when I used to enjoy living out of a suitcase... Not any more. I feel pressured now. Sometimes I feel guilty when I see myself slipping into old habits.

Anyway, back to the subject. I am here now, in Sydney, and am working with some really good people; working hard but having a good time. And sometime during last week, I shifted gears - which in my world means working longer hours and working harder...

Normally once I shift gears I rarely break.. Its the thrill of travelling at a high speed without stopping.. But one of my colleagues suggested I should check out Sydney. Relax a bit, hang around, experience Bondi.. stuff like that.. Well for a change I was tempted and I took up the offer.

I started the day really early today with a Bondi Bronte walk and then spent a couple of hours fooling around in turquoise water... Oh it was sooo much fun. I almost forgot I was here for work. But I was hooked to having fun. I came back to my hotel and went out again.. A couple of hours spent shopping, some more walking, a few oysters at sydney fish market, and a nice warm relaxing bath later am at my desk and I realised that before I get back to work, before I forget what an amazing day I hav had, I "hav to hav to"document this.

Thank you "You know who" for making my day.
